The School of International Cultural Exchange Held the Online Thesis Proposal Conference of the 2022 Undergraduates

As requested by the Measures for the Administration of the Dissertation (and Project) of Graduates of Lanzhou University，the thesis proposal report of the 2022 undergraduates was concluded with a success via the internet on the afternoon of December 2, 2021, most undergraduates staying overseas for the Covid-19 pandemic.
Graduates were divided into three groups with a director of the teaching and research section as the leader of the judge panel respectively. Graduates have prepared and submitted their registration forms of thesis proposal report in advance. And they also have made slides to demonstrate their ideas and answered questions raised by judges in turn. According to major characteristics and demands, all judges, attentive and responsible, forwarded suggestions for students’ proposals and early preparations. As a result, some students have to reapply for the paper proposal because of the low relevance between their proposals and their majors or difficulty-loaded writing.
These are the second batch of most overseas students receiving long-distance guiding and attending online thesis proposal conference in our school. In order to underpin a solid foundation for the later writing, the judges are strict about their reports at this stage. All members of our school staff and graduates have to overcome various difficulties across time and space to finish the follow-up work with high quality in time.
